Busy Busy Babies

We keep waiting for our life to slow down a little bit with these babies, but it just seems to get crazier. Adalyn is now walking and both Isabel and Adalyn have found the joy of emptying all the drawers and cupboards in the house.

The above picture is a picture of Isabel with Dillon's owls. My Dad nicknamed Dillon "Hoot" because Dillon has such big eyes (like an owl) and has given Dillon a few owls. Isabel, for some reason, loves these owls and likes to go get them off of Dillon's chair and talk to them.

This is Dillon on his new bike that the Easter Bunny brought him. He loves it and has to show it to everyone that comes over, or that we pass on bike rides.

Auntie Amber sent them bunny ears for Easter. As you can see from the picture Isabel was not a fan and wanted them off pronto. Adalyn actually kind of liked them and would play with them and try to put them on herself.

Besides emptying my cupboards, Adalyn and Isabel love to raid and play in Dillon's closet. Dillon is a good sport and doesn't get upset when they take-off with all of his stuff.

Adalyn and Isabel love, love to play with Dillon. Their new things is to play up on Dillon's bed with him. I get tired of standing next to the bed and so it is a short lived adventure every day. However, Adalyn decided that she didn't need me around and now climbs onto Dillon's red chair (by his bed) and from there onto his bed (so fun watching out for that).

Besides playing on Dillon's bed, the babies and Dillon love to pile up pillows in the family room and crawl, dive, build forts, etc. with them. Most days I can count on needing to put pillows back onto couches upstairs, in the basement or both.

If there is one thing that we have learned raising twins, it would be that children are born with their personalities. From the beginning Adalyn has been our little pistol (Joe calls her his grizzly cub) and Isabel has been our calm little angel. However, once in a while Isabel has a naughty moment and pulls a move like unrolling the toilet paper as seen in the above picture.

This is Joe just having a nice calm relaxing time after work watching TV. I mean really I don't know why people always say twins are so much work :).

Here are a few random pictures from the last couple of months. This picture is of the girls in my family at Jessi's (my niece) dance recital in California. She graduates this year and we were able to go their and watch her last performance. It was a fun, fun weekend. Joe had an equally fun weekend staying home and enjoying our pleasant children :).

We signed Dillon up for soccer this spring and this picture is pretty much a tell-tell of how his soccer games went. Let's just say Dillon didn't really "play" soccer I'm pretty sure he just went to run around and get the team snack at the end. Go Pirates!
