The McAllister's Easter

Dillon and his cousins decorating Easter eggs.

Dillon put out some carrots for the Easter Bunny and told me what to write on the note (word for word :)).

The Easter Bunny made it to our house and even left tracks.

Joe tried to take some pictures of our kidders Easter moring.

It didn't work out, see the above faces.

So we tried again after church. It went about as good.

This is about as good as we got. (Too bad for the bright orange biniki)

Neither of the girls would look at the camera at the same time. And so we gave up.

That's what it's like to be us :).

Dillon's Carnival Party

Little Dillon turned a big 4 years old! We had a carnival party to celebrate. Joe was in charge of putting up the decorations and he did a great job.

Dillon and his friends started off by decorating party hats while everyone arrived. Then the fun began. Picture 24 little kidders running all over - cccrazy :)

Silly Clown Dillon

Darling clown Sage in the photo booth.

A big Thank You! to my carnies. Lucky Shelli got to be our face painter. Monica was fortunate enough to spin kids around the whole time for pin the nose on the clown.

Sydni maned the Fish Pond.

Regan took on the impossible ring toss.

Jessi supervised the shooting gallery.

Daxton was in charge of the bean bag toss.

Joe and Kade made sure we were well supplied with popcorn.

Sam's Club made sure the cupcakes were perfect :).

Dillon got to blow-out his red cupcake.

His friends definitely took care of him.

And what is a party without a pinata.

Halloween

Adalyn and Isabel were very into the Halloween decorations this year. They kept trying to sneak up and play with them. They knew they were supposed to, this is me catching Adalyn red-handed.

What? I'm doin nothin!

I will bet you didn't think a saw was necessary to carve pumpkins. You were wrong - just ask Joe.

Joe's masterpiece.

Dillon didn't want to participate in the costume parade and the class picture on Halloween at preschool. So I found these two cuties and took a picture of them instead.

Dillon was Cat and the Hat and the babies were Thing 1 and Thing 2. We sprayed "turquoise" hair spray on their heads that went bright green, but they still looked the part.

The all loved trick-or-treating. The babies mostly loved to just play with the candy they got. Isabel would keep trying to grab for more at the doors we took her up to. They are big into suckers right now and so they kept getting excited when they were placed in their buckets.

Things I Missed

There were some big events in our family, this fall, that I failed to knowledge. One being that Isabel started walking the week after Labor Day. Adalyn started walking Mother's Day weekend, but Isabel held out on us for 4 months. It has seriously made life sooooo much easier now that she is walking. I can actually put them both down when I have to carry something and they can bee-bop behind. Love it!

I just had to throw this in because if things are too quite at my house and Adalyn is no where to be seen, this is were I find her. She loves to mess with the computer, pushing buttons, clicking on the mouse, turning it off and on. Errrrr

This is Dillon's first day of preschool. He is on his 2nd year and loves it. We laugh because Dillon will have gone to as much preschool as he will high school because of his fall birthday.

This is as non-goofy of a shot as we could get.

Dillon loves sitting on the tractors at Wheeler Farms

He was in luck because Papa came with us and knew every make and model of every tractor at the farm :).

Adalyn and Isabel love to swing. Dillon liked it okay at this age, but these two love, love it. Because they have to share everything, they have mastered the big-kid swing early.

The are also fearless when it comes to climbing up and down on the swing-set. Adalyn prefers the ladder, but Isabel prefers to climb up the slide.

I don't really try to keep my babies away from sugar, but we just don't seem to give it to them that often. This is Adalyn after I gave her a cookie. Seriously how hard is it to eat a cookie without making too big of a mess.

Pretty Hard!

Their Favorite Things

This is a picture of Isabel after Adalyn tried to take her blanket. Watch Out! Adalyn and Isabel both love these blankets that their Auntie Shelli made for them. They carry them where ever they go around the house.

Notice something similar in the next three pictures.

Adalyn is totally obsessed with her new boots. They are fur lined inside and she loves them. She brings them to me all the time to put on her. It isn't cold enough to wear them yet, but she loves to wear them around the house. She loves her boots and buckles. She can already do up the buckles on her high-chair and is currently working on mastering her car seat buckles.

We're Here!

If you are sitting on the floor, Adalyn thinks she needs to be in your lap.

If only a picture was used to describe Dillon's personality, this would be it!

Dillon loves "his babies". In this picture he is reading her a book, but another one of their favorite activities is to wrestle. Adalyn is a feisty little girl. Notice the curls on both of these two. Isabel has straight hair and Adalyn has curls like Dillon.

Birthday Girls!

Izzy Lou

and Addy Mae

Turned 1 on May 20th!

It of course rained most of the day during their party.

However, the party must go on! And if you have a nice Auntie Monica to pack you around then it doesn't really matter if the ground is all wet :).

We did presents and cake inside (I don't have any cake picture yet to share - Adalyn was of course very into it, and Isabel of course was very not into it - cried).

They shared the party day with cousin Nixon who was turning 2. There were presents galore!

Joe made them an incredible rocking horse that they are going to love.

It was a sweet party!
